For Labor Day 2009 Linh and I decided to take a quick short trip to get away from the daily grind. On
Saturday we went to see the Georgia Guidestones, we thought it would be interesting to see them in
their currently defaced form...while we were at it we were going to day hike in the Oconee National
Forest on Sunday. We stayed overnight in Madison, GA and then the next day took off for some hiking.
The day before we left for the Georgia Guidestones, we met up with JD and Ash for diner and they
mentioned they wanted to go hiking on Sunday, but never got a plan together. How convenient! We had
the plans all put down, they just had to show! We didn't quite know what we had in store for us, but it
was still some fun times.
